A woman was injured in Kyiv’s Desnianskyi district during a Russian drone attack, with falling debris causing the injuries, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko. The mayor shared the update in a Telegram post, as reported by Ukrinform.
“Medics confirmed that a woman was injured in the Desnianskyi district,” Klitschko wrote, adding that she is currently receiving medical treatment at the scene.
Following the attack, Klitschko reported that a three-story recreational building in the area was destroyed in a fire caused by debris from the drone strike.
Explosions were heard in Kyiv as air defense forces worked to counter the incoming drones.
