Russian forces launched a drone attack on Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region, leaving several casualties and damage behind. Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported the incident on Facebook.
Initially, reports indicated one fatality—a 76-year-old woman—and eight others injured, one of them seriously. However, Lysak later updated the toll, confirming that three people had died, including a child. Emergency rescue operations are still underway.
Six of the injured individuals were hospitalized, with one in serious condition and the others in moderate condition. Two additional people, including a 15-year-old girl, received medical treatment at the scene.
Lysak also stated that air defense forces successfully downed 11 Russian drones in the region. However, a rescuer was injured in a subsequent Russian strike in Pavlohrad. Emergency workers managed to rescue 10 people, including two children.
The attack caused fires in several areas, including a five-story building and several vehicles. Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames.
