On Thursday, authorities confirmed that a Ukrainian drone strike set fire to a wooden church complex in the Belgorod region of western Russia.
The attack took place in the village of Sukharevo, where the New Jerusalem church complex, a prominent local landmark, was destroyed by fire after explosives dropped by Ukrainian drones detonated. Vyacheslav Gladkov, the regional governor, shared the news on his Telegram channel, stating that there were no reported injuries from the attack.
